OpenEpi Examples

OpenEpi is a web-based calculator for epidemiologic data analyses. This calculator allows you to enter data into 2x2 tables and other analysis formats in order to perform calculations of interest, e.g., computing odds ratios, confidence intervals for odds ratios, and obtaining tests of hypotheses about odds ratios.

The free open-source software program developed at CDC to perform any OpenEpi analysis is obtained at OpenEpi Software.

To see an example of how to use OpenEpi when analyzing a 2x2 table using data from ActivEpi, click OpenEpi 2x2 Data Analysis.

Here are also some exercises from ActivEpi Web which can be solved with OpenEpi statistical calculator. Click on each exercise below for self-study.
