Excellence in Communication

The “Excellence in Communication” lecture focuses on emergency risk communication that is effective and sustainable. From his experiences designing communications in communities affected by anthrax, WNV or SARS, Sean Kaufman, MPH, CHES, shares what he has learned to be models of excellence for in-person emergency risk communications. The lecture includes a description of effective organizational emergency communication systems that address multiple audiences with minimal resources and the essential elements of such.
