Vaccines: Not Enough or Not Enough Time?

This multimedia presentation has been designed to educate medical and public health professionals about vaccine shortages. The learner will learn about the roles of state and federal government for responding to shortages and critical issues affecting vaccine development and production. Speakers are scientists and practitioners and the specific lectures include: Overview of Vaccine Shortages; Role of State Health Department in Responding to Vaccine Shortages; Role of Federal Agencies in Responding to Vaccine Shortages; Vaccine Production Issues; Quick Response to Emerging Strains; Novel Approaches for Rapid Vaccine Development; Use of Adjuvants to Enhance Vaccine Immunogenicity; and Innovative Means for Pre-Clinical Testing of Vaccines.
