Healthcare Infections Associated with the Care and Treatment of Humans and Animals

This multimedia presentation has been designed to educate medical, veterinary and public health professionals about healthcare associated infections (HAIs) in the care and treatment of animals and humans. You will learn about healthcare infections, their complications and prevention; understand the challenges of new State and Federal regulations; increase your knowledge of evidence-based prevention strategies; learn about surveillance techniques; and review the impact of zoonoses in veterinary medicine and the implications to humans.
