ROLLINS SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH
The mission of the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University is to
acquire, disseminate, and apply knowledge to promote health and prevent
disease in human populations. The School is uniquely positioned to provide
its students with exposure and experience in the public health sector.
Students, faculty, and staff share resources with some of the world's premier
organizations to include the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
The Carter Center, The American Cancer Society, and The Georgia Department of
Human Resources. Each of these relationships provides unique opportunities
for faculty and students to engage in hands-on research and actual public
health practice. The School offers the MPH degree, which is widely recognized
as the primary professional degree in public health.
Joint-degree programs are available in conjunction with the schools of
business, law, medicine, and nursing at Emory, and cross registration is
available with the graduate and theology schools. Students may earn a Ph.D.
in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Nutrition and Health Sciences through the
Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. The Career MPH program allows mid-career
professionals to earn a degree without interrupting their employment through
an innovative format combining on-campus sessions and web-based instruction.
The Rollins School of Public Health also is home to interdisciplinary centers
devoted to active intervention and research such as the Center for Public
Health Practice, the Center for Injury Control, the Women's and Children's
Center, and the Center for the Study of Health, Culture and Society. These
and other centers collaborate with various schools at Emory as well as
communities at home and abroad. The School's international and diverse
student body benefits from an environment rich in research and internship
opportunities in Atlanta, the "public health capital of the world."

GOIZUETA BUSINESS SCHOOL
Goizueta Business School at Emory University takes as its central mission the
enhancement of global economic value with an ultimate goal of helping improve
managerial decision making with a resulting increase in consumer prosperity.
This is accomplished in three primary ways:
- To increase economic value for students in degree and executive programs.
- To increase economic value for the enterprises that hire its students and
that send its senior managers to executive programs.
- To increase economic value based on the leading edge knowledge that the
faculty creates in their research and publishing.
The Goizueta Business School is global in its focus and recognizes that
economic value is derived today in world markets. Its students are
international, the curriculum is international, and the research is
international.
The school upholds the central philosophy of Roberto Goizueta's legacy. He
saw the Coca-Cola Company's central mission as to create value over time for
shareowners. Value creation benefits the owners of the business but also has
significant benefits for other stakeholders, including employees, and the
worldwide communities in which the company and its various stakeholders
participate as economic agents. In addition, economic value creation enables
shareowners and other stakeholders to contribute back to society in
meaningful ways.
The Goizueta Business School espouses the highest ethical standards and
believes that economic value is maximized when there is no uncertainty as to
ethical intent. It believes that the Goizueta name is synonymous with
creating economic value. Its goal is to educate principled global leaders of
the future, who, like Roberto, both create value for their organizations and
improve society.
The Goizueta Business School offers both the MBA and BBA degree and has four
MBA programs. Additionally, the School has an Executive MBA full-time two
year, full-time one year and three year program. Find out more about the
